چکیده

Myclobutanil is a systemic fungicide belonging to the triazole group, which frequently detected in environmental samples. Triticonazole, also fungicide, controls soil and seed-borne diseases it mainly used as seed-coating pesticide. Both myclobutanil triticonazole are considered persistent pollutants environment, raising concerns about their fate ecotoxicity potential. The purpose of present study was investigate efficiency four pilot-scale horizontal subsurface flow (HSF) constructed wetlands (CWs) remediate from artificially polluted water. Daily loading CWs took place March 2022 July with contaminated water fortified triticonazole. Three CWs, encoded WMG-R, WMG-C, WMG-U, medium gravel (MG) porous media fourth, code name WFG-R, fine (FG). Common reed (R, Phragmites australis) planted WMG-R WFG-R units, cattail (C, Typha latifolia) WMG-C unit. WMG-U unit no plant control results showed that removal rate follows pattern: (88.4%) > (83.4%) (59.3%) (36.6%) (88.5%) (71.0%) (70.9%) (49.2%) for triticonazole, respectively. most significant factors influencing fungicides’ dissipation were content species.

Removal of total suspended solids from wastewater in constructed horizontal flow subsurface wetlands.

Subsurface horizontal flow experimental wetlands (reed beds), were designed and built based on a combination of two design methodologies, that of the WRc and Severn Trent Water plc (1996) and that of the USA, EPA (1988). Four different growing media were used with a combination of top soil, gravel, river sand, and mature sewage sludge compost, to determine the best substrate for total suspended...

Removal efficiency of nitrate, phosphate, fecal and total coliforms by horizontal subsurface flow-constructed wetland from domestic wastewater

Background: Constructed wetlands are systems designed based on the utilization of natural processes, including vegetation, soil, and their associated microbial assemblage to assist in treating different types of wastewater. Methods: Two local Appalachian plants (Louis latifolia and Phragmites australis) were planted into smallscale constructed wetlands to treat domestic wastewater in the North ...

Influence of chlorothalonil on the removal of organic matter in horizontal subsurface flow constructed wetlands.

This study investigates the effects of chlorothalonil (CLT) on chemical oxygen demand (COD) and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in pilot-scale horizontal subsurface flow constructed wetlands (HSSFCW) planted with Phragmites australis. Physicochemical parameters of influent and effluent water samples, microbial population counting methods and statistical analysis were used to evaluate the influen...

Design of horizontal and vertical subsurface flow constructed wetlands treating industrial wastewater

Constructed wetlands have become a good alternative to urban and industrial wastewater treatments. Because of the many interactions between the different parts that form the wetland, the design of these systems used to be very complex so a good design tool is required. Hybrid constructed wetlands mix the aerobic and anaerobic properties of vertical and horizontal subsurface flow constructed wet...
